I'm Brian Pate. I think fishing is one of the few perfects things I know. When I am not fishing, I am thinking about my last fishing trip or planning my next one.
When I can't be on the water, I get my fix drawing and painting about being on the water. My pictures are inspired by the great trips, crazy weather, occasional perfect casts, subltle (or not so subtle) takes and amazing fish I find.
While I am drawing a picutre or hanging a picture I am connected to those perfect moments on the water. I'd like to think one or two of these might do the same for you. Better yet, I hope the images on this site make you drop everything and head to your favorite water.
